  • Designed sophisticated asbestos removal techniques for operating mechanical rooms and occupied buildings with a special expertise in high-rise properties.  These engineering protocols became the industry standard and were referenced in Federal (OSHA) regulations and incorporated into State regulations (NJ and NY) and into local regulations (NYC). They were first published as protocols in 1984 and then as a technical publication in 1987. A patent license was granted by the US Patent office for certain devices associated with the implementation of the protocols.
  • Designed and managed over $100 million in contaminated soil/groundwater remediation projects at US Dept. of Defense sites and sites across the country utilizing a wide array of technologies.
  • Designed and managed more than $1.5 billion of hazardous materials remediation projects for commercial properties throughout the United States.
  • Designed and managed waste minimization and process waste treatment systems for sludge and oily wastes for the petrochemical industry, nationally and internationally.
  • Developed, financed, and constructed a waste treatment facility utilizing state-of-the-art thermal technology.  This site was contracted to perform over $ 20 million in recycling/ treatment within the first six months of operation.
  • Implemented remediation technologies for microbiologically contaminated HVAC systems, asbestos in occupied structures, soils, coal tar (MGP sites), hazardous waste, groundwater, refinery wastes, oil exploration wastes, and marine sediments throughout the United States, as well as in Mexico, Venezuela, France, and the Middle East.
  • WCD's principal consultants frequently serve as expert witnesses in Federal and State courts and have testified in numerous arbitration proceedings.
